DRINK OR NOT

Introducing a pioneering product designed specifically for the "lonely sober," individuals who find themselves isolated in their journey towards sobriety, lacking support from those around them. Our aim is to offer solace and assistance to these solitary souls by connecting them with others facing similar challenges, fostering a community of mutual encouragement and support on the path to recovery.

Our product consists of two integral parts. The primary component is designed for direct interaction with the user, featuring mechanisms to track drinking occurrences or administer consequences for surpassing predefined limits. The secondary component is meant for the user's family or friends, keeping them informed about the user's struggles through remote notifications. This enables them to reach out, offer encouragement, or inquire about the user's well-being, bridging the gap of isolation.

Embracing the philosophy of "positivity and support," our design symbolizes the close relationship between the user and their support network. The upper part of the glass mirrors a traditional drinking glass, while its counterpart is a lampshade. This duality reflects the interconnectedness of the main unit and the illuminating section, akin to the bond between the user and their loved ones. Moreover, the glass's round bottom prevents it from standing upright on a table, necessitating its return to a special coaster. This feature serves as a constant reminder of the user's commitment to sobriety and the necessity of continuous support and engagement.
